Tiffin University Chooses 5G Wireless for Campus-Wide Broadband Wireless Networking Equipment
MARINA DEL REY, Calif. -- Oct.
26, 2005 -- 5G Wireless Communications, Inc., (OTCBB: FGWC - News), an emerging leader in the wireless broadband industry, announced today that Tiffin University in Tiffin, OH has selected its C-WAN(TM) (Campus-Wide Area Network) equipment package to provide wireless broadband coverage on campus and throughout selected off-campus
University-owned housing units.
The purchase was arranged and will be implemented through Springnet CC (http://www.springnet.cc/), a Dayton, OH-based WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider), one of 5G Wireless' selected Authorized Channel Partners.
Located 90 miles southwest of Cleveland, Tiffin will be utilizing a mast installed atop their network technology center, along with just a few other 5G devices, to provide point-to-multipoint wireless coverage. 5G offered a secure, economical solution to other wireless broadband alternatives with the added benefit of reducing ongoing maintenance and network administration costs associated with an excessive deployment of access points.

In addition to a growing student body at Tiffin in Miami, OH, graduate and undergraduate programs of the University are offered across the state in Columbus, Fremont, Toledo, Lima, and Cleveland, as well as through an online remote learning program.
