5G Wireless Solutions Announces Agreement with SRS Industries -- Leading Supplier of Telecommunications Equipment & Engineering Services Becomes Authorized Channel Partner
Marina del Rey, CA – March 9, 2005 -- 5G Wireless Solutions, Inc., an emerging leader in the wireless broadband industry and a wholly-owned subsidiary of 5G Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:FGWC), today reported the execution of a contract enabling SRS Industries, a Los Angeles-based distributor of telecommunications equipment, to resell its wireless networking systems.
SRS is the premier supplier of both new and refurbished telecommunications equipment for wireless, cell site, wireline, switching, transmission, data networking, and transport infrastructure. The company provides Complex Engineering Services (EF&I) turn-key solutions for broadband, wireless, wireline, and enterprise customers, and offers complete end-to-end services conforming to industry standards and best practices for project management, detail engineering, installation, testing, equipment removal, and records management. They also sell digital and analog systems including GSM, CDMA, TDMA, AMPS, NAMPS, antennas, microwaves, plug-ins, and components, and supports switch, transport, access, BTS, BSC, cabling, and power equipment.
SRS inventories, distributes, and tests equipment for Lucent (NYSE:LU), Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY), Nortel (NYSE:NT), Nokia (NYSE:NOK), Motorola (NYSE:MOT), Alcatel (NYSE:ALA), Siemens (NYSE:SI), Fujitsu (OTCBB:FJTSY.PK), Proxim (NASDAQ:PROX), Carrier Access (NASDAQ:CACS), Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO), and other major manufacturers, and buys surplus inventory and provides asset management services for end-of-life equipment sale and disposal. Services include revenue shares, liquidation valuation, removal, and scrapping.
